FW Black Community Called Out On Covid Order Defiance

On 2 separate occasions, Democrat Congressman Mark Veasey witnessed first-hand, large gatherings of African Americans in Fort Worth, right by multiple Fort Worth Officers and their squads.  Yet, nothing was done.  WHY?

The Star-Telegram has a great story on this, along with the BS excuse from FWPD on why the officers didn't enforce the orders from the City, County and State!!  BOGUS reasons. "We have a special team that does this".  BS-the officers could have called it in for the "special team", then went over in their squads and announced on their loudspeakers-without getting out to leave or there will be repercussions.

According to Veasey, it didn't happen.  NOTHING.  Why?

My guess: The soft bigotry of low expectations, as former President George W. Bush coined it.  "If we do this, they'll act out and will put it on Facebook live".  Maybe, but if you do nothing, their lives-and our lives-are being put at risk.

Mayor Price, Judge Whitley--will you stand up and call this out?  Better, or this all is a joke in your town and county.  Or, is the ordinance only for whites?  Hope not.

FWPD and Mayor and County Judge need to repudiate this immediately, or pull the ordiance.

Think getting Covid-19 is only bad for 65+?  BS-read this WSJ article on how horrific and sometimes permanently life-altering it is for folks in their 30's and 40's in Texas and the US.  It's a powerful, short read.  Pray no one you know has to go through this--or anyone.  Scary.
