Dallas County Mask Mandate

Apr 17th, 2020

#

We have only hours left before we're forced to wear masks in Dallas County; effective Midnight tonight.

Should we buck this?  First, some thoughts and fun..

What can we wear to protest this??  Panty hose over our head?  Underwear with fake "skid marks" on it (that will help folks stay away from you at the store!!)?  Lots of ideas!!  Send yours at Chris@WBAP.com.

The good news is Clay J admits that this will not be enforced by the cops, so there you go.  The bad news is idiots like the people my wife and I have encountered at Walmart and the Post Office need ordinances like this.  The good news is essential business owners can kick people out if they refuse to wear a mask.

In truth, I support this.  However, the key is to get our economy moving.  For us to get back to work.  This needs to start in 1-4 weeks, rolled out wisely (not all at once) and MUCH SOONER for safer areas (like most of TX) and MUCH LATER in others (NYC).

Please stop pretending Covid-19 is like the flu.  It's not.  Have you ever heard of the flu killing 4,591 in 24 hours?  Coronavirus just did today.

Thank you, China!
